How do i become a moderator?

You just joined and one of the first things you ask is how to become a moderator... you are ambitious aren't ya?

Well when I become one, I'll let you know how I did
I believe they are chosen, if I am not mistaken...
but here are a few steps..
Read , know and undertsand the rules
Respect others
Be open minded
Be helpful
Utilize your resources( use the search because 99% of the time any questions you have, have already been addressed)
Give Karma
So if that doesn't help you become a moderator, at least you will be a good member :-D

You must:
1. Climb the highest mountain.
2. Dive the depths of the sea.
3. Cross the widest ocean.
4. Discover the mysteries of space.
5. Look god right in the eyes and ask: Why?

Then, maybe, Scooby will deem you worthy

I asked scooby and he let me. I also started the New England Regional forum, Modded that and told him that no one was modding the 1gen forum well and that I would do it for him. I think I did what I said I would.

Id suggest trying to work your reputation/karma up by helping other people out.

Main key is to be neutral in nearly all circumstances. You dont want to be knocking people for things they say, but you can politely correct them.

As for right now we seem to have plenty of moderators, so until one of them becomes innactive your out of luck.

Also i beleive scooby holds polls for who becomes a moderator.
