Have got to change my power steering pump and wondered if anyone has done this and how long it takes. Just got a quote off my local garage and he said 3+ hours at 48 quid each one.
I could do it myself but dont have time at the moment

£48 p/h for labour seems pricey to me... but then I'm cheap. :)

The cost of the pump is another matter... as I hear a new one is around £900.

£60 is good.. mine cost £80 from Mazda Spares in Rochdale.. a few years ago..It can bit a bit of a pain in the posterior to get to... best done from underneath..
