I don't think that is right. THat bend seems too extreme. Does it fit in place? You might need to try and un-bend it and put it in place and see if it reaches. I'm pretty sure that isn't supposed to be that drastic of a bend.
Well... Not quite ready to use it yet. If it is jacked up, I was going to take it back to the junkyard or just try to straighten it later. The shop manual shows it to be straight, but some people say its suppose to have a little bend in it. Maybe the dealer has one I can look at to compare.
It's probably not something the dealer would have. I would bring it back to the junk yard. Sometimes the junkies use hilos or bobcats to lift cars and the forks probably caught on it and bent it. I would bring it back since it's their problem and you should get a "new" good one.
