ive got this garrett turbo, and i honestly know NOTHING about sizing on turbos.

i am going to list this on ebay, but i really dont know what to call it. i was told it is "close" to a gt30, but i dont know.

Here is what i DO know:

the compressor says A/R 50, and GARRETT

the turbine house reads this, as shown:

M-4
PT-1
AR-.48

it is water cooled and oil cooled.

compressor inlet has a 2.5" opening.


heres the only picture i've currently got of it, if you want any more please let me know.




i might be willing to pay you some dollarz if you can verify to me what it is :D

post pictures of the exhaust inlet and take off the compressor housing and post up some measurements of the compression wheels major and minor. Use a digital caliper to get accurate sizes.

For a guess, it could be a 50 trim compressor.

btw, you should use the correct AN wrenches for your fittings :) rather than mangling them up with standard wrenches and crecent wrenches! (Im half way drunk)

hmmm, well...

Exducer is 2.95", or 75 mm.

Inducer is 2.22", or 56.4 mm.

nothing matches according to this..

I think your measurements are off by a millimeter or two...but I would say a 57 trim TO4E compressor side.

I say give it to me :p

but the cold side is definitely a 57 trim TO4E...don't know about the turbine side...most likely it's a Stage III turbonetics T3 wheel. It's a good spooler and good for about 350whp (or more if tuned right). A .60 A/R turbine side would yield more flow for better power and top end.

i would sell it to you for pretty stupid cheap, if you want it.


The exhaust housing says .48 AR right on it...
