i got a warning one for it. he said my exhaust had to be stock else id get a ticket.

my plan is to use a decent chambered muffler and an turn downed tip and then hide it all behind the bumper. without the shiny muffler attracting attention i highly doubt a cop will notice a modified exhaust.
(and if its still loud, he will have a harder time picking you out on the highway without the large muffler

edit: option2: use a larger stock muffler from another car. i highly doubt a cop will know the difference between a stock mx6 single tip muffler and a stock dual tip muffler off a larger performance car.

I got pulled over at a light once for revving my engine, (2.5" exhaust from the turbo back), 'cause I saw a friend of mine. As Lt. Dick is trying to talk to me, 6 or so Harley's pull up to the same light, and all take off, wide open, and I nor the cop, couldn't even hear ourselves thinking!! I guess it's kinda' hard to write out a "loud exhaust" ticket when your being ear-fizzled by 6 or so Hawgs!!:lol:

1st - my uber quiet and nice aftermarket muffler, barely louder than stock. Lt. Dick Ass Face gave me a ticket for it being loud after flipping a bitch to chase me down the street.
2nd - Another local cop chased me down just to check my paperwork and had my exhaust as an excuse. I told him i already went to court over it (1st time) and it is withing the regulations in terms of noise (db). No ticket.
3rd - Stock exhaust. Burned/rusted out and loud. Cop almost dragged me out of the car and beaten me to half death for being on the phone WHILE having a loud exhaust. Called in my driver's license and all other info while almost holding me at gun point. No ticket.
4th - A Lt. Son of a Bitch was a little bored and thought he'd pick on a kid with not enough money to make his car a single color, let alone fix his muffler. Wrote me a fatty one for not having updated insurance at the time.
ATM - a nice quiet Greddy SP2 with a loooooooooooooong resonator to keep it quiet. Tired of this fucking injustice. A fucking average Harley Davidson turns my intestines into ground beef at each light and wakes children half a town away while a starving russian student is getting his ass pounded for having a DIFFERENT exhaust on his quiet car. WHAT THE FUCK IS THIS SHIT??!?!?!?!! AM I TAKING CRAZY PILLS??!?!?! AAAAAAARRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
