much MUCH lighter....

1978 Suzuki GS550











mx-6 goes up for sale tomorrow after i remove some stuff (stereo equipment, HKS EVC, Steering wheel)

project mx-7 is still in progress though so i'm not done with the F2T

thanks. gonna start learnin as soon as it gets nice out. i feel kinda weird at age 23 and having to "learn to ride a bike" lol.

Got to learn sometime, my friends want me to learn but i got start on a quad first because I don't know how to shift yet:D

eww... uh any of your friends have beater bikes they might let you learn to ride on???... no offense but i would hate to see a classic like that get laid down and busted...


btw when your talking to the ladies dont say "im learning to ride a bike"... use motorcycle... :)

Looks cool, be careful, and most of all don't slack on good gear, it will save your ass.

yeah. pickin up a used helmet from a friend to learn on (before i hit the main roads on a regular basis)

and i've got my eyes on a SHOEI RF1000 once i get going.

still undecided on the jacket. tried a few on but havent picked one out yet. i figure until i start doing more than 15 - 25mph i'll be alright :lol:

has your friend ever been on the ground with that helmet? if so its useless to you as protection.

idk how much you know about helmets so i dont mean to offend you but.

once a helmet has struck the ground with any real amount of force it damages the internal bracing which supports your head. when you have a helmet that is damaged it does not properly protect you and depending on how it was hit you might not be able to tell from the outside.

just looking out for safety

dont have to sell the mx-6. :)
