Hi I've a quick question for u guys.

How do you tell a 4WS to a GT apart if it has no markings.

What is the difference in the specifications engine and such?

The 4WS has 4WS, and special "turbine" wheels. From 1988-1989 it was the only model to have the rear strut tower bar. It has an extra subrame crossmember in the front, which links the control arm mounting points together - this is only present in the MTX version though. The engines are the same as the GT.
The 626 was also available with 4WS in both hatch and sedan forms.

The extra subframe crossmember would add weight, but, do you think it stiffens up the suspension at all?
Might be worthy to add if you could find one if it does.

Yeah it ties two of the four control arm mounting points together. I almost ordered one a couple weeks ago, but it's $114. I think I'm still gonna get it though. This type of brace is available for civic and miata guys from bunches of places. They say it really helps to stop cowl shake. I think that's something my car needs help with.

I put a scan of a diagram that shows it in the mx6 pics post section.
