at the moment i have a cold air intake on my 96 mx6 m-edition... winter is coming so i want to change over to a short ram, the cheapest one i can find is like 260... is it possible to just take the filter from the cold air and place it at the end of the mass air flow sensor without it getting screwy? all ideas are welcome
thanks

yes, if i understand your question correctly...
you can keep your CAI elbow, then attach your VAF (already on i hope) then just clamp the filter onto the vaf if it messures up right (which it should) everything should run correctly...

just wondering why you want WAI instead of CAI :)

Just ebcause he doesn't want to be sucking up all that snow!

to answer the original question....

Dave is right. The intake elbow right off the TB to the VAF to the filter. That's what I did last winter... No need to worry about this winter since the car will be parked!
