On a completely unrelated subject, have you guys heard about rioting going on a France these days, it's crazy how the country of such strength and relative economic success can have such a problem... how long has it been? 11 days or so? 5,400+ cars burned.... unofficial source. My italian friend hates french, do you guys have any comments/corrections/updates on the matter?

I think people who hate France are just plain ignorant. In fact it sickens me to be a citizen of a country like the US, where ignorance and stupidity runs rampant and is actually praised.

I understand your opinion. I dont really hold a grudge for their ancestor's treatment of my ancestors.

But my scot/welsh blood still has some animosity towards the english. But Im euro-mutt, so I should really knock any nationality.

dude, yer not even 19 go & travel the world a bit before you decide to take a political stance I have been in Broadcasting for damn near 15 years, 8 years as a news reporter I have been to France, I have been to Germany I have even been to Auschwitz to see where some of my mothers family was killed (eye opener there)

My dad was in the military for 20 years, and I spent more than 8 years LIVING IN EUROPE. Don't even tell me to travel the world, I've been to way more places than you will ever dream about. I've been to Auswitch, and dozens of other concentration camps, museums etc etc... I'm not some ignorant little kid talking about things I don't understand. I am opposed to the war in Iraq as well, and know of a lot of people that are over there. Guess what, if it was France fighting in Iraq, the U.S. wouldn't be supporting them..... and the French would be hating your ass. You have to look at it from both sides, and think before you open your mouth.
