Yes, that is it. You can leave it on so long as you close of the inlet on the intake pipe going into the turbo. Leave the wiring connected or you'll have a CEL come on, which will be code 46 IRRC.
Ok thank-you so much for sharing that info with me, now let me make sure I get this correctly.Yes, that is it. You can leave it on so long as you close of the inlet on the intake pipe going into the turbo. Leave the wiring connected or you'll have a CEL some one, which will be code 46 IRRC.
Great I will deff plug that now what about the other ones on the solenoid should I leave them open or plugged aswell? The one pipe from the VAF to the turbo has a nipple that the stock boost solenoid hooks up to. If this is left open then you'll have a rough idle and leak under boost since its after the VAF.
It's code 42 and you will have a stored code. It's not a major, so it won't light up the CELI dont have the stock boost solenoid connected to the harness and i dont have any CEL codes. The code is 42 not 46?
We've done this twice. The first time, we completly removed the solenoid, and we got a code. It's code 42 and you will have a stored code. It's not a major, so it won't light up the CEL
For real. Also, OP get a damn Factory Service Manual. Seriously.
