I own a 93 MX-6 LS with 179,000KMs (111875 Miles) on it. I fill my tank up with 92 octane gas. I get on average 430kms (269 Miles) per fill up. Is that bad? Just got this car less than 2 months ago. Thanks.
I usually get somewhere between 250 and 300 per tank. I live where it's flat but hot; and it's city. If you are in a city I would say it's pretty normal but if you live in a rural area you might want to give it a tune-up. It couldn't hurt to give it a tune-up anyway since you just bought it though.
I have a 1993LS and I used to get 330-360 when I drove 30 to work and 30 miles back all highway (this was also before I had my heavy -but paht- 17's on) Now I get about 300 till the light comes on and the farthest I have pushed that is another 30 miles. The gauge is under the read. Pull your codes and check to see if you have any bad O2 sensors. They can rob 3-4 miles more per gallon if they are shot.
yeah.. I usually get about 250-275mpg per tank.. but that's because I do a lot of highway and city driving. I manual tranny and I'm always downshifting and matching the revs to slow down and stuff.... it takes more as but it sure is fun!!
