The bonnet vents are genuine Sierra Cosworth ones. A mate of mine was importing stuff for his Cosworth Saphirre and I asked him to find me a pair. $90 shipped. Better than paying $100 for fibre glass ones plus shipping.

AS for power, going by G-tech on the previous setup, and I know they aren't supper accurate, I managed a 0 - 60mph in 7.34, which equates to 203.4hp atw. How accurate that is, I'm not sure.

I'm going to drive around in it for a while and probably go for a UNIchip or some other piggy back.

Next thing is to take it to the exhaust shop to fix parts of the manifold, and also bend up the midsection.

I'm going to keep all my stock parts at this time. just to cover my arse from Mr Plod.

i would suggest going standalone, but leaving the stock ecu in there, just take off the injectors and hte ignitor module trigger wire, simple fact is you have a lot more controlability.

That's an interesting point you have there Mark.

Crusty, I took the car for a gentle spin today. 6psi. Partial throttle, feels kinda like it did on 12psi.

It appeared to be very hot. I adjusted base timing to 9deg btdc. it seemed to jump around between 6 and 10. My temp guage doesn't seem to be working though, so that's another thing before I drive it properley. That and an A/F gauge at least.

The exhaust out the side is track days only. With the stock setup, I gain 3psi, upto 15. It removes the cat then 1 resonator and out the side. Best $120 I spend performance wise. It doesn't stay on the car. Just never removed it from my last track day. It's been off the road since then.

Muppet, haven't put it on yet to make sure I wasn't a tooth off for the timing.

Jords, the welding is craphouse, but it's going to the exhaust place to fix this up and make up the 3" midpipe.
