had a question bout jet-v performance chips
they are pretty costly 'round 3 bills
well this guy doesnt know how to hook it up right and is lettin it go for a buck fitty.
on the sie they say theres a hp gain in the teens
no my 6 is Atx and i want faster shifting to keep up with manny tranny cars.

would this be an improvement or an impairment?

I think the general consensus is that the performance chips for these cars do next to nothing. It's not worth the money. You can better spend that cash on one of several other things.

I've heard that, on ATX, it won't cut the gas between shifts... that should give your 6 a little more b*lls, but definitely nothing amazing or even significant. If you do this, you should probably get a tranny cooler.

ur thinking of the iat mod and yes it is amazing and significant. its a free mod, all u have to do is cut a wire and it instantly makes the car shift harder, itll even chirp the tires into second gear most of the time. its the first wire on the VAF wiring harness. (the one closest to the nose of the car.)
