its been a long time since i have been on this board as my 626 is long gone...... last i heard it was in the Northern Territory.... damn do i miss it though.... there have been many imitations but there will only ever be 1 Evo-626...

so how are people: Rodhog, Silver, Bambi, Losiho, ???? i have forgotten a few.... caleb....lex...

Im still car-less... bought a unit instead with the proceeds of the sale... gearing up to be a property guru

Dunno if he's a millionaire yet, but Peter is trying to sell his MX-6 to buy a R32 GTR (boy has taste).

Alex ? Yes he totalled his MX-6, then bought a R32 GTS T, got sick of it's unreliability, and now has an S14 200SX. He's in Perth at the moment, apparently PK took him for a ride in his ZE converted machine !

I have to say, your car is being copied by heaps.

I have seen an almost idential one, WRX bonnet scoop rear wing -no skirts chrome wheels. BUT still not like the real Evo-626

Hi All

yeah rodhog, i have seen the passion rose one, its owned by Raby, the owner of that awaful Suziki Swift with the RBABY number plates. He offered to buy mine, and i told him to F off and immediatley locked the car in the garrage. I dont trust him as far as i could throw him.

I have seen a silver Mx6 (2nd Gen) doing the rounds in hurstville, it had some airbrushing and chrome vents. Any one know the guy?

Yeah Rabi's Wifes car from what I understand is the 626 last I saw it was stock. He was using it when is CRX 4Rbaby was in impound.

As for the mx6 with air-brushed. Welll I think the owner of Talbe tyres or a worker owns just a guess as I have seen it there a few times.

Hey Kas, it's been a while.

Maybe not the best time to be getting into property in sydney, i saw in the paper the other day that the average house price was somewhere around $700 000!!!! the correction/crash can't be too far off, especially with an interest rate rise next month. things are only now starting to go up here, a mate of mine bought a 3 bedroom highset on a corner block that needed a tiny bit of work for $95 000 just over a year ago, had it valued at $130 000 recently

If you want prices and property going nuts in Sydney.

A lot of people I know have bought property with old house knocked them over and built massive houses. Spent 500,000 on the land that agian on a hosue or more and now its'estimated next year or two to be worth 1.5Million

I will say one thing, it's worth it in the long run over any car, well except maybe a 250 Ferrari GTO hmm keeps going up in value every year.
