ok i have a 95 with the v6 (same as probe of course) my question is ive looked into getting one from k&n but done see paying 145 dead presidents for it, ive found a way to make my own. if it works ill post how to do it, now the question... with the filter down close to the ground i know road derbies are a hazard, what im worried about is water.... rain ect.. with this be a problem with a cone filter? (exposed).....

yes this will be somewhat of a problem. there is a definite risk of sucking up water via the cone filter when it is down that low. 1 possible solution is to rest the cone filter on the spash guard. Now this does not guarentee protection but it will cut the risk of sucking up water down. Another possibility is getting the bypass valve that just came out. Only problem with that is you have to get the right pipe size to make sure the valve fits on correctly.
