I just bought an engine and im trying to find out what exactly it is....It has K8-101, K8-1A1 heads can anybody tell me what that is never heard of it before.

Yeah, sounds like the 2.0 V6. You may have gotten the shaft. I'd call wherever you bought it from immediately and see what they have to say.

It is indeed a K8 1.8L V6. Same as standard MX3.

I just found out that i have the millenia enigne and the 1998 and up heads are k8 witch is code KFZE 170 hp and compression 9:5:1 and the valves in the head are ZE but the cams are KL

That is 100% not correct...in the family of "K" engines there are:
K8 1.8L V6
KF 2.0L V6
KL 2.5L V6

that is it AFAIK
unless you've got a frankenstein motor that someone built...that is not the way Mazda would have put it together.
