KL-B eh? Haven't heard of it unless its a misprint. Check your engine to see if you have the correct stamping on the heads. KL31 which goes on the klze. Also, does the intake manifold have a long straightneck going to the throttlebody?? Give us more information.

check the head on the engine and check the cams under the valve cover. I bought an engine from All Japanesse Motors in Miami and was told it was a ZE, but when it got here it was a Eunos 800 ( curved manifold with kl-01 cams ). In short I returned the engine because although it was the correct head stamping the cams were wrong. So heads for these 3 clues to your ZE.

1. Correct stamp on the head.

2. Cams should read kl-03 under the valve cover

3. on the back right hand side of the engine there should be a stamp next to the power steering pump.

Hope you're in the clear!!!
