i have a question, how many hp can hold klde engine if i put turbo on it, and if i make turbo project it is a big diferenc to make it from klze or klde
i dont want to change somebody in engine only want to put turbo, interculer, wires and bigger injector, but dont want to change something in the engine, not change pistons, valves
how many horsepowers can hold klde with turbo in original
and how many klze
i want about 280-340hp from it, can i do it with NO changes in engine?
Thanks

With a proper setup and a good tune, 280-340 should be achievable.

340 MIGHT be pushing limits of the motor.

I would be likely to think the KLDE would hold more power before it popped than KLZE.

a member on PT already hit 398whp on a fully stock internal motor. just had a turbo kit, and tuning. and the engine ran for almost a year, and did like 30 dyno runs, and dozens of track runs. so it was being abused and still lasted. he ended up having to spray the hell out of it on top of the turbo just to get the engine to fail.

Ebay is the best option by far for pipes. If you are worried about quality, mine are still strong and in great shape (the same shape as I got them) since 2007 and over 40000 miles. They cost about $300-$400 at the time, I believe they are half that now. Custom made could cost anywhere up to $1000 or possibly more. nothing from another car will work.

I think you have to buy it in parts...none of them fit exactly right, but they're close...search for mx6/probe headers, one of them is bound to be the turbo setup, which will be the headers, y pipe/up pipe, and downpipe, then you search for a t3/t4 turbo, one of them is bound to be the m12 china turbo, then search for mx6/probe intercooler, will be a universal that will have mx6/probe in the description, be something like 18" by 7" or so, with 2.5" outlets...and not sure if they're still just listed as such, but somewhere in the same search you may find the i/c pipe setup, or you can get one of the many universal sets and cut to fit...then however you decide to run it and get fuel to it...
