The motor that should have been in our cars in the first place is now in mine. The swap went pretty good, we started friday afternoon and started the new motor sunday around 8:45pm. The biggest problem was the nuts that hold the drive shaft to the wheels, we tryed two impact guns, a johnson bar with an extention, I had to get a guy I know who fixes trucks and tractor tires on the side of the road. It took 160 psi and this massive two handed air gun to get them off. The only problem now is the idle, I may have hooked up a vac line wrong or there might be a leak somewhere, I'm not sure but if you know of anything that would help that would be great. The idle is basicly bobing up and down and a few times almost quit, but it drives smooth and I really want to see what it will do but I have to be good for now. Is there any way that I could have plugged the wrong conections together or do they only fit where they go? I am running the a-spec ecu and vaf for now, I have the J-spec maf and ecu but they gave me the wrong ecu, the one I have is markrd KL62 so when I get the proper ecu I will switch them over.

Any advice would be great

I'ts certainly possible to run the VAF and Aspec ECU and run fine. I am. There's a vacuum line diagram for the ZE somewhere. I don't have hosting capabilities anymore or I'd post it. If you want it PM me with an email address and I'll be sure to send it. Other then that you may also have a vacuum leak somewhere. I know one plagued my 03 for the longest time.
