Got the car back from being painted on August 29th. Here are the pics!

Since the pics, I have put the emblems back on, put mesh in the grill, and ripped of the nasty purple tint.

Looks good, the paint matches perfectly. However, those wheels gotta go (are they hubcaps?).

What do you mean by the paint matching perfectly? U can't tell, but the body kit is molded on, no seams, and it was fully resprayed. Oh & No they aren't hubcaps, they're factory alloys & I'm not putting rims on until winter is over.

I can see them now... It looks good. Good choice on staying spoiler-less, looks much better that way imo. Those wheels do look kind of funny with that kit on though.

Yeah I'm not a spoiler person AT ALL. I admit that the wheels are ugly. Those are just my fall/winter wheels. I'll have some rims in spring if I still have the desire to pour money into it.

Damn nice. Good to see that your stock rims do not totally take away from the body kit. Encouraging cause I just got new tires and get them bald before I buy new wheels. Thought I would have to wait to do a body kit until I got new rims. Guess not

ARRGGGGGGGGG!!!! I thought I would come in here & vent. I payed $2k for the paintjob on my car & stuff keeps happening to it! Lastnight, I had to cross 4 lanes of thick traffic so when I got the chance I had to go for it & when I got across the road there was an upslope to the parkinglot and SCRAAAAPE!!!!!!! It sucked. I don't see how anybody has buddy clubs & lowering springs, cause I have hard enough time at stock height...lol. Well anyway, thismorning I'm outside cleaning up my car for the weekend & all, and I see my mesh grill barely hanging, & I look at my fender and my where my kit is molded is ALLL F*ed up! Gah, this only adds to all the scratches from where somebody broke in & the glass shredded my clearcoat. Oh well, I'm not getting it fixed, I'm almost tired of pouring money into this car...andybody wanna take it off my hands? lol...well I guess I'll just wait til I start autobody school next semester & get access to a paintbooth & just fix it myself. Oh well, long post I know, but i had to vent. Later!
