It seems we left just on time on the Sunday cruise.

The main tourist strip of Terrigal was turned into a drag strip yesterday as 250 hot rodders from sydney invaded the normally quiet central coast resort. Local police had to move in about 3pm when the esplanade became blocked wit cars. The popular picnice spot of the Haven had to be closed as dozens of cars gathered near the Terrigal Headland. A spate of minor bawls followed as police worked to control the situation, many of the drivers were teenagers, most on their P plates who shouted abuse. Fights were reported near the Crowne Plaza hotel on the esplanade as gangs of youth traded insults.

pffft drag strip? what drag strip. there were too many of us up there to drag there was no room! lol just check out my pics in the thread you put up silver, what a bunch of tossers, but yeah with that many people up there, there was bound to be a fight, most likely between some of the coasties and some big mouthed sydney siders who think they own the place.

Dont get me wrong Im from sydney but when your not on your home turf you should respect other peoples back yard, know what i mean?

yeah, drag strip was over the top. Barely reached 5km/h on that road. It was more like hoons parking there cars where ever they wanted and doing burnouts.

Well THey killed Brighton then they killed the Gong now they killed Terrigal.

Hmmm I think most of you know what I mean and who I'm talking about.
I just hope they don't kill the the Mountains or Wisemans ferry but I doubt it as there is no highway for these guys there car's can't take corners or winding roads.

The area the article is inferring there were drags was along the one way section back near the shops as we entered terigal after coming down the hill from the roundabout (where the kid on the pushy was dragging us off) - along the flat section there

The next day at work there were questions about it and comments that on the news up here they were quoting it took the cops 40 minutes to clear the carpark... sounds like lazy cops. I believe it takes like 2 1/2 minutes in near the newcastle foreshore.

Well I know some of you are going to say I'm slack but I have no respect for quite a few of them owners of them cars. Possibley because I'm sick of seeing them all the time, and have to act friendly when I meet them because they know my friends. Even if they are kind stupid. Not all just the Stupid ones.
I say Defect them ALL
DEFECT DEFECT AND DEFECT.
It always gets them moving on.
It's just stupid stuff like that motorbike doing a burnout on Booosting 6's car. If that was a normal Mum or Dad's car he would complain striaght up to the Cops. So No one should not expect the Cops to come and get them to piss off.
It was such a nice place before they turned up. Same with the Gong. It's always just the few that kill it for the rest.
