Lifter tap and low speed miss.

Hey guy, long time since I've posted on here. Anyway, down to business.

Last November I changed the oil in my 2.0L 6. Standard stuff so I'll skip to the good parts. Since then it's developed a tick after it heats up and a low rpm miss up until about 2.5-3K. Tried using a motor flush and filling it back up with my usual Mobil1 5w-30 oil and Mobil filter. Still nothing. My oil pressure is fine as well when warm.

Any questions you guys to need to ask or any comments are always gladly accepted. I've searched the forums and came up a bit short. So thanks for anything you guys throw at me.

anything different about the oil change ie. too little or too much oil? how many km (or miles) on the engine? can't think of a reason at the moment but try to think of all the variables that could could have led to it. maybe one of the experts have a better idea :)

Nope, standard oil change. Motor only has about 70K on it. Was a really strong motor too.

hmm, i mean i'm sure you know that our engines basically always have a tick so that might not be a problem but then the missfire... maybe it's something simple like a lose vacuum hose or electrical connection
Yeah but this tick is more pronounced than the normal tick. It's the same noise my old motor would make when it was low on oil (i went through almost a quart a week on that crap motor.)

Checked hoses and all electrical connectors. Replaced rotor button, cap, spark plugs and wires.
