Engine: vaf adapter w/ K&N filter, Custom ram air intake, MSD Blaster 2 coil, 96 Rodeo fuel filter (upgrade), 4 guage wire on some of the ground points, 2 1/4 inch exhaust pipe w/ractive muffler,

Suspension: Intrax springs (about to be changed to Eibach), Monroe MacPierson struts, PGT strut mounts,

Weight Reduction: Backseat taken out, Rear trunk panels and excess pieces taken out, Front crunch bar taken off,

Interior:Alpine 9827, Panasonic 6 1/2s (Front), Panasonic 5 1/4s (Rear), Mazdaspeed shift knob, Autometer A/f Ratio guage,

Exterior: 89 PGT front bumper, Sylvania Cool Blue headlights, pcv filter,

Mods to be done very soon: addin PGT rear spindles to change to disc brakes, changin head to a PGT head thats port and polished w/3 angle vavle job, cam shaft reground by crower, dual valve springs, gonna bore out the block and add je pistons (custom make),

Heh. I feel my car is puny next to these, but I'll go ahead anyways:

1988 MX-6 GT list:

  • Custom exhaust (pulled off a junkyard 1st gen) with a pretty big fart cannon (hey, it was damn near free and will do for now!)

I'm sure someone will bash me for the coatings but I should be able to do most of it through ties at work and Calico is about 30 min away. I also want to get rid of the HLA's and replace them with solid lash adjustors if there are any that easily interchange. Roller cam followers would be nice, I might have an interchange possability on those that would reqire bushing to be press fit into the rocker body.

I also need flow numbers of a virgin head from .050" lift all the way up to max if anybody has them. Might be able to finagle using the flow bench at work if not. Havn't looked into valve possabilities yet and part of that will depend on flow numbers.

Who is running aluminum flywheels? I've had one to install for about 5 years now but never have because I was afraid it would be too hard to drive. Can anybody give me any input on how streetable they are? My truck will probably weight about 2,200 lbs or less by the time I'm done.
