a buddy of mine is looking at a 93 mx6 turbo
with 130000 miles on the clock
the price is 2500 usd
and he was wondering what ,if any, major probs
occcur with these cars (drivetrain,suspension and whatnot)
he said there is a couple of rust spots on the car including a hole in the decklid
and the car is in texas

first off r u sure its a turbo?? they didnt come that way stock...
does it have a v6 or an i4? and is it automatic or manual?

if its got a turbo setup thats done right thats a great price no matter what model the car is. and ive got an extra trunklid if you're looking to buy one.

it is an inline four and it is a 5 speed
he said it was a 93 mx6 turbo
one of the models came with a turbo didnt it
im not really up to snuff on the mazdas

If it is an inline 4 banger with a turbo from the factory it prolly isnt a 93, what does the car look like? does it look like the red one in the mx6.com banner or does it have sharper lines?

there arent any common problems with the i4 5spd. some of the pre 93 mx6's had turbos, the 93-97 did not. if it has been upgraded to a turbo u should be able to see it pretty esily or just post pics of the engine bay and we can tell u if its got one. unless it has been turbo'd or is in perfect shape thats a high price for that year and model.
