allright i'm looking into buying a 4 cyl 5 spd and was wondering what problems or problematic areas should i look out for on the car.
i know they're pretty reliable and was wondering if there are any major things to watch out for.

i just got mine and im having a little problem with the starter. The car dosent seem to want to turnover. AND it only has 34000 miles on it. But thats the only problem ive had. btw what are you lookin to spend?

My '92

I just traded in my '92 MX6 for a '96 just for the
upgrade. I had absolutely 100% satisfaction with my '92.
It was a 5spd, 4cyl and it got great mileage. You're
looking for problems that may happen, but the '93s and up
are totally different than the '92s and down. But if the
4cylinders are alike you should be in the right car
buying market!

i'm looking to spend hopefully less than $6k on a 1993-1996 depending on mileage. i saw a sky blue one on autotrader and it only had 66k mi and looked great but was an auto - so that sucked a$$ cuz it was only $5200. right now i'm not to worried about color but just mileage and the drivetrain i want. gas prices just went up to $1.96 here in Cali!
