i'll only img a few of them.. the rest are damn large. if you have any questions or comments, please post the pic name so i know what youre talkign about

heres my downpipe

the jig for all the other sets of hotpipes that will follow ;)

crossmember mods.. we wound up redoing it.. i didnt like how close things were sitting with it... so i made it stronger :) ignore the rust oil pan.. we just took that off today - replaced with a non rusty, tapped one.

(please note we didnt grind down anything yet, so the welds "appear" rough.. they are good welds tho. grinding to follow)

nothing hangs down here :) this is a must as my car is damn low enough as is. (yes the pipes AND xmember are bolted in)

and lastly, the set of pipes as it will be offered once dan is done with my car. wrapping is only test fitted at the moment, - i have to grab some 1" as 2" doesnt take to the bends as well.

there are a TON of pics, but too many to list. heres the rest. feel free to comment or any last minute advice! :) and yes thats a flex pipe on the rear collector.. should help with a> install and b> cracks/leaks caused by heat expansion/ contraction

Nicely done  Ya know I have thought about this and I am about 95% sure I can make another kit where we wouldnt have to modify the transverse cross member. Because there is that 2.5" gap betwen the radiator bottom frame and the front tranny mount, and there is pleny of room aobve that to run both pies around the front and down under the oil pan back tot eh exhaust. Just a thought, but anyway you did good with your stuff so far. At least yours came out pretty, I didnt even grind off hte welds heh. Just said OH WELL. I wanted boost NOW and got lazy. Overall good job.

Nice stuff. :) I hope your jig is solid enough so you can produce sets that fit.

thats the way i originally had it, you might see the old crossmember in the pics.. just had to grind the lip a little, and it all fit fine, but was already a little close.. It also meant i can never go with bigger piping.. (well without doing it at that point in time) so i figured, i dont know exactly what i'm going to want - this is just the preliminary turbo setup...

so while it was all apart was the best time to modify it. But certainly, i agree.. if one can get away without modifying the crossmember, it makes things a bit easier.

Mici - Dan is a kickass welder :) he's redone my pipes 3 times using the same jig (adventures in welding in o2 bungs in the wrong locations haha.) and they fit perfectly.

the details are being worked out, but the answer to both questions is yes. this particular setup is my own. there will also be piping kits made available.

Keep us updated on the piping kits, im very interested, only thing i dont like about the setup is the modifications needed for the crossmember, looks like to much!!
the modified crossmember WILL be included as a core-deposit exchange basis... we have to do it this way because we dont have all that many so we can't just give them all away with the kits... and since you (the buyer) won't need two, what we do is charge 75$ core fee.. and u get that money back when we have your old one in our hands... (ie: you install this one, and mail us back your old one) if you dont want to return the unmodified one, thats fine too - but then we keep the core deposit, so we can buy/replenish our supply (no more available locally, mx6's arent too comoon for too long int he junkyards around here.. they get crushed pretty quickly.. so we'd have to have some shipped)
