I just bought a 91 MX6 and the brake pedal has a lot of travel. There doesn't appear to be an adjuster for the rear brakes and the Chilton manual I have offers no help. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Jon

change the rear pads. for some reason, changing the front has no real effect on the pedal. when u change the back breaks though it will bring it up alot. i dont know why, just happens that way.

Beware though, when changing the rear pads.. I just did a total brake job on my 88 MX-6, and after putting a new wheel bearing in and a pads.. I blew out a left rear wheel cylinder.. If they are the original wheel cylinders, they might be old and getting ready for rerplacement.. Just thought you would like to know...

Try bleeding the breaks first, this tends to help a lot on these cars.
