I have the exact same setup, intrax springs, 17 x 7's with 215/40's. There is no clearance problem at all, except when turning the front wheels ALL the way one way or the other the tires rub slightly. The offset will be the deciding factor, make sure that you have at least a 35mm offset (thats what I have). There is not very much extra room between the rear tires and some of the suspension parts, so less offset would make the rears rub.
