First page has been fully updated. Check it out for all details and present setup of my car.

Time to update a bit.

Since my last update here, I made custom FMIC setup, Colt Camshaft has been installed as well as Probinator chipped ECU. Because of imageshack server I don't remember if I posted something about brakes and suspension ... just to make clear - KSport coilovers and Revolution Brakes Kit in the front (Wilwood 4 piston calipers, 330mm rotors). Exterior remain unchanged.

So what about this year ..

I finally manage to tune my car right on Standalone ECU. ECU Master EMU unit to be exact.

I wanted to prepare everything for 2016, when the stock IHI will be changed for something bigger (td04-19) to make some real power.

We replaced the stock fuel pump with Epman 310l/h and OEM injectors with the ones from Lancer EVO IX (560cc). Even for stock turbocharger AFR was way to lean above 4500rpm ( 15-15.5:1 on stock ECU and Probinator chip @17psi), so it made my decision about pump and injectors even easier.

After that we thought that everyting is gonna be fine, but stock ignition system couldn't handle correct air fuel ratio on high rpm's. We decided to replace stock ignition coil with brand new coil from Alfa Romeo 147 (typical mod for higher boosted Ford's like Escort's RS2000 for example if you want good and powerfull spark). After that all problems with fuel and ignition were solved.

Of course stock VAF was replaced with map sensor (OEM from Saab 9-5 aero). This let us make a proper intake to stock turbo. We tried 2" intake but without any reasonable gains in hp and torque, so we made 3" custom intake with quite big air filter. This mod itself made about 12-14 extra hp and 20-22 torque. Boost is now controlled straight from new SA ECU by n75 EBC.

So to make everything clear, this is the setup for now:

- SA ECU (by ECUMaster EMU)
- 2.5" exhaust
- 2.5" piping and big FMIC (600x300mm)
- Colt Camshaft
- Ported head
- n75 boost controller instead of MBC (set @ 1.06b dropping to 0,85b above 4800rpm)
- Ignition coil from AR 147 & removed stock distributor cap
- Injectors from EVO IX 560cc
- Fuel pump - Epman 310l/h
- 3" intake to turbo & removed stock VAF (replaced with Map Sensor from Saab 9-5 aero)

All of this made 245hp and 320lb/ft of torque - still on stock IHI turbo.

Pictures and dyno chart on 1st page

Greetings
