Ray I'm not sure on the torque converter thing.

THe N/A shafts and hubs will be fine with the torque of the turbo motor. Especially if it's kept stock.
Q1 - It should. Everything is the same.
Q2 - Um.. they are the same. Don't throw yours out. Only the GT MTX has different hubs/cv shafts. The Turbo ATX, N/A ATX, and N/A MTX all have the same hubs/shafts/rotors. Personally, I have a '90 626 GT which was ATX, but the previous owner swapped to a N/A MTX. Kept the original hubs/rotors/cvs/axles.

Q3 - That's a tough to say. I'd probably change out the Torque converter just because.
But you might be able to keep it.

I have never seen an Australian ATX GT mx6/626 with N/A size axles. They are always 28 spline.
