I would like to set up a MX-6 meet at the Cecil County Dragways on the 17th of October. The time that I would like for fellow members to meet is 6:00pm. Even if a couple people show that is a start so please reply to this thread if you are going to attend this meet. You can get directions to the track at their website. www.Cecilcountydragway.com You will not be expected to run on the track. Just be a spectator unless you want to run your car. I am setting this up for we can meet each other and watch the grudge matches and bullsh** together. Hopefully this post is not too late for some people.

Whats up all? Unfortunately I dont get off til 8:30 on weekdays, otherwise I would be there... I am down to meet up & stuff tho, it would be cool to start a club and/or get some kinda mailing list goin.....


Anybody got any ideas for a place to meet thats closer to VA?? That way it might be easier for more people to show up from VA, DC & MD.

How long you guys going to be up there til? 6pm is kind of too early for some people including myself. I'll try and make it. Anybody from northern VA want to caravan up? Maybe we can hit A/C after, haha.

Noncorporeal, where are you in VA? Some hot spots for other cars on the weekends are at the BK in Manassas and the BK near the Expo Center. Rockville in MD used to be good, but not anymore b/c of the fight this past friday. Not really a fight, more like 2 guys getting ****ed up by a mob.

Sweet, I've been tryin to get some people interested in some meets in VA, but havent heard anything back from anyone yet... Slow goin, but I wont lose faith!!

Hey VA folks you are invited but that will be one long drive for you peeps. I was trying to get the locals that live a couple minutes away from the track to show. It looks like nobody is going to show but I will still be at the track. 6:00pm is early but whenever you show that will be cool. Just trying to do something for the Marylanders on this site.

Thats this friday? I shoooould be able to go if my car gets fixed, probably like 60% sure I can make it. I'm looking at it tomorrow so unless i have to order a part, I should be up and running by thursday. How will we find eachother? I'm not sure how its set up. Just kinda look for eachother in the parking lot. Are you going to be driving the blue six james? I cant remember having been there, not old enough to remember last time i was. You just park wherever then there's a gate to get to the stands where you pay...10 dollars? I'll let you know later in the week if i'm coming, i really hope to have my car fixed. I narrowed it down to a few problems that shouldnt cost more than 200, its just the time required to fix it that's the problem. Pretty much if my car is running i'll be there. I'd look like an ass talking all that about how we need to get together and then not showing up to a meet when someone presents it.

The track closes at 10:45pm so prob to 9:00pm. Not too long for me the fumes start to bother me. Also if it rains the meet will be canceled because the track will be closed. Just a little info way ahead of time.

I drove all the way up there too. lol. me and a few friends wanted to go anyway, should've known better. The rain let up some but i should've known it closed. Turns out i know how to get there so...thats good. Looks like his upcoming weekend will be decent. Might be short notice, weekend after next maybe? Whens the track close for the season?

I think it closes around the end of November. Still needs some ideas for meets. Trying to get started early for next spring.

next time you guys are trying to meet at cecil PM me or something so i know...its like 30 min from me and i think itd be phat to get to meet some of u guys
