Hey guys, I have a laptop and I was wondering if it was possible to connect it to the car's computer somehow and monitor the various features.. Other cars have the pocketlogger or hondata.. do we have anything? Is there a universal program for OBDII?

There are packages for reading OBDII, but I don't think a 93 will have it as it was only fitted to later cars.

With the older system, the signals given by the diagnostic box, are long and short pulses, corresponding to a number, which is the fault code.

I believe OBDII can be read as constant data.

Yeah. I have no idea why I thought it was OBD II. So, is there anything I can hook up to an ODB I ????

You can only check for fault codes using a 12V led, or in the US, the CEL (check engine light) UK cars don't have one, hence the LED.
