The 1st gen Probe actually uses the same seat as the 88-92 mazda 626 (at least in the non-power seat Probes). The MX-6 seat has more significant side bolsters to keep you in the seat around corners. The struts and springs are all interchangable, but I don't know that they are exactly the same in every instance. The Probe weighs different so they may have made those bits slightly different.
From what I've read in old magazines, I've got quite a collection going, the probe was more sporty suspension wise. Stiffer springs and struts. Not that the MX-6 was a slouch, but, it was supposed to be more of a touring car, while the probe was supposed to be the replacement for the Mustang, so it was meant to be very sporty.
