Why would you replace your fuel pump if your not getting "fire", tipicaly when someone say they're engine isn't getting firem, it means that the spark plugs arn't sparking, so how would a fuel pump get your spark plugs to fire....I would look into things like the distrubitor cap and rotor, ignition coil (I think you said you did that), plug wires and plugs. Then an ignitor switch ect, basicaly Anything that has to do with providing spark to the plugs, a new fuel pump will not effect spark in any way...unless you just replaced it because it needed to be anyway.
