It is possible to do the auto to manual conversion, but you will need a few more things that just the tranny. I do know that you will need to replace the drive shafts as they are a different length. There are otehr things that need to be done but I can't think of them at the moment. Amazingly enough the MTX is the same for both the I4 and the V6 with the only difference being the gearing in 3-5 gears. You should be able to use the tranny out of a Probe no problem, again the only differences being the gearing adn final drive ratio.
