Hi, got an MX6 not so long ago. I've had it for about 7 months now, and so far everything has been fine. But now when I'm accelerating sometimes it feels like its struggling to gain speed. When this happens, it is accompanied by a fast paced noise from the engine or exhaust. The sound sort of reminds me of what down shifting sounds like, when your rpm's jump up, only not exactly like that.
When the problem occurs the tech says steady, no bouncing. It will eventually gain speed, just slower then usual. Once it gets past about 2k-2500 RPM it runs normal until I shift again. It seems to happen most often from a dead stop in first, and in fourth right when I shift into it, but its also happened in 2nd and 4rd as well.

I just saw the thread about jumping the CEL to read the codes which I'm gong to try tomorrow, but does anyone have any ideas what could be wrong?

Its a 5 speed, 4 cyl 94 MX6.
