Yeah mazda I think only started to release good sheep skin ones on the 97 onward model.
most are aftermarket covers either animal skin or fabric ones.

A universal cover fits quite well on most mazda seats.
I had sheep skin ones but figured I keep breaking seats why cover a 2nd hand seat

Here's mine...

Forgot to straighten them out before the photo, but you get the idea. They get a fair bit of use with my onsite work etc.

How do you find they go with the sides? I've been looking at some standard seat covers and I wasn't sure how they'd fit with the side supports.

(Those turtle covers are all class, BTW! No turtles for me - I want some dragons just to annoy my other half who is adamant that I am not to rice up the MX6 :muhaha: )

These are designed for bucket seats, fits perfectly :) They still sorta poke out in the middle where they are stretched between the sides of the seat if you know what I mean, but when you sit in them they are fine. They are hard to get a pic of as black & white do not expose well, I should have zoomed on the turtle for ya, it's a classic :)

Gotcha.. might be worth a peek, because I'd like to look after the interior - the previous owner looked after it, and it's pretty sweet.

I'll have to get the dragons and leave them as a little "surprise" for him to discover })

If you want to go all out you could get them custom made... I think they are about $150 each for that cheap sheep skin stuff. There is an upholsterer down the road who advertisers doing such things... then you could get what ever you want on them...

I don't have seat covers due to the side supports, I too don't know how seat covers would look / feel when you are bouncing on them being stretched from one side of the seat to the other.
