Hi Rob,

A good paint sprayer should be able to match it exactly.

John's red 6 was damaged and that was painted perfectly down part of one side.

Paula

Thing is, I'd rather do the whole car than just fix one wing. Don't like the thought of mismatched paint I guess.

Bumps in the night

Looking at that photo I've posted, I hate the state of that front wing. I really need to sort it before Trax:(

Rob
Yeah, ruins the 6's beautiful lines somewhat (like my rear bumper scrapes :()
That's sympathy by the way! :)

It needs the full works, the usual 12 years of scratches and dings really should be sorted. The list of bodywork jobs would warrant it:

Front wing dent
Stonechips
Scratches on both bumpers
Dings and scratches in passenger door
General scratches.

I'll get it done, just money really, I'm pricing the job tomorrow if the bodyshop's open.

Thanks for the sympathy:)

Should also add, the nearside rear arch needs a look at and it looks like the obligatory rust on the back edge of the sunroof is rearing it's ugly head.

No worries, I try and keep everyone (including myself!) happy :)

As for that list (plus the 12 year's wear n tear):
Luckily no, but the rear bumper's got some nasty scrapes both sides in it :(
Ditto
Ditto
No but rear panels by petrol cap badly keyed :damnmad:
Ditto

Get any quotes?

I've actually not had time in the last couple of weeks, pressure of work, but quote notwithstanding, I need to save some coins. When I can find time in amongst work and fixing other things. The drive belt pulley tensioner bearing started roaring last week after a dip in a flooded street, and it needs another droplink on the rear. It had a faulty one about 6 weeks ago.

I'll see if I can pop down to the bodyshop next week.
