My friday night lesson

I know you are all going to yell at me for this but i learn a very important lesson last night. FWS really doesnt like reverse donuts :p . I just did one quick one it is the first time in the 6 and it whiped around 270 degrees and i stoped looked down and the FWS light was on and the back wheels werent turning, so i turned the car off and unpluged the FWS computer let it sit for a bit and plugged it back in and it was working again, so now i know. NO REVERSE DONUTS

its easy enough to slide the rear of the 6 around, not as controlable as a rwd, but its deff doable, even in the dry...

Safety feature

you had the front and rear speed sensors too far out of the the set calibration.

Not problem on 2nd gens - unless your doing something STUPID - Which DONUTS period ARE in any modern electronic car.

AKA any Holden after 2003. Or ford after the BA


1st gen owners can do the same thing in the Wet stock. but it does have wider calibration setup point.

yes i actualy was joking! lol! but ive heard it can be done.. lol.. well ive *slipped out* a fair few times! scared the crap out of me =="!

Well my gearbox exploded today but i don't think the reverse donuts had much to do with it just the ZE with the stronger clutch

I doubt it. More like the Abuse.

Those boxes are so cheap. Importers don't care for the manual- they want auto's. Wreakers look for autos worth more.
Manuals you can pick up a KL manual 5 speed with mid range Km's in a wreaker for under $400. With warrenty.

Can't do that with a 1st gen. Turbo or non turbo these days.
my non turbo box NO warrenty low k's under 120,000km's cost me $200

whats a pressure hose? my clutch pedal isnt returning to normal position and my mechanic said it needs a new pressure hose. whats labour worth on one of htese
