What's up everybody? Just checkin in to tell ya about my ice in my MX6.
Head Unit: Pioneer DEH-P9000R
Speakers: Infinity Kappa Uniplane "6 x 8"
Subs: Rockford Fosgate HX2 12"
Rockford Fosgate HX2 12"
Amps: Rockford Fosgate Power 500a2
Rockford Fosgate Power 500a2
Rockford Fosgate Multi-Channel 200a4
Tweeters: Infinity Kappa
Wiring: Monster Cable
I've got the Pioneer DEH-P9000R head unit. It's a beauty. It puts out 45W x 4 channels and it sounds great. I've bridged the channels to drive my Infinity Kappa tweeters that I had installed in the dash by the winshield. I replaced the factory speakers with MB Quartz 6 x 8s but the new Kappas sound much better. I had to order them directly from Infinity, and they cost almost $700 per pair, but they were well worth it. I use the 200a4 to drive the 6" x 8." The subs are in the bandpass box in the trunk and they are handling 500W RMS. I haven't had an SPL rating, but they are loud. Well, this is my system in a nutshell. It cost me almost $6,000, but sounds excellent!
