Are all LS Mx-6's called Mystere's? I have a 1996 w/o leather and a cd player...is mine a mystere - I just bought it and it doesn't say mystere anywhere but the owner's manual.

I thought Mystere's were the top-of-the-line MX-6's, w/ leather and cd, but a saleman at a Mazda dealership told me they're all Mystere's.

All MX6's are Mysteres. Mazda called them this for a while, then dropped the designation. Same thing as MX3-Precidia, 626-Cronos and 929-Millenia. You really only see the Mystere badges on Canadian or maybe european models. (I think) I'm gonna be taking mine off soon if anyone wants it...yea right.

As far as I know all MX6's are called Mystere's. The only differents between an LS is that it is fully loaded. So they just call it an MX6 LS instead of MX6 Mystere.
