My '93 sunroof is rusting around the edge in two places: middle front and left rear corner...

...is this something fairly easy to replace [i am mechanically inclined and have enough tools] - just looking for advice from someone that may have done this particular job before...

also - anyone know where i can get a replacement? I'm thinking the local salvage yards - any other ideas?

Thanks in advance,

Open up the roof, at least part way. Then, pull the front edge of the moonroof liner (the cloth part) down. It is held in by 5 or 6 clips - You don't have to pull down very far and you'll here a pop (those are the clips releasing). Get all of the clips popped off and then pull gently toward the front of the car. Once the liner is out, close the roof. Then, remove the 4 10mm nuts that hold the actual roof panel in place. Don't loose the rear spacers. Then, simply lift the roof off of the car and reverse the process to install. By the way, I have moonroof panels if you need them. What color?

Thanks for the info Mike !

How much would you charge for a white sunroof in good shape? Shipping?

Thanks again,
