New Brakes, PLEASE HELP!!!

Hey, everyone. I know that there are probably threads on this already, but I can't seem to find one that JUST talks about brakes. I've got a 93' LS and my brakes finally broke today. I've ordered some el cheapo pads and they should be in tomorrow. I was just hoping someone might be able to tell me what to expect when I get ready to put them on. I'd appreciate any help you all can give me.
