Definitely the RX-7! All but the VR4 model of the 3000GT are pretty slow. You should read this thread on the RX-7 vs. 3000GT. Click Here the Thread is called I Got Arrested. Read down, it gets into the topic quickly.
Some good info.
I also ended up sitting in an RX7 at weekend so I thought I would ask the guys at the RX7 club to convince me why should I buy one http://clubs.yahoo.com/clubs/mazdarx7club
looks like a car that needs plenty of time spending on it to me but why dont you see what they say. No one better to ask.
good choice. if it were me choosing between the two I wouldn't even consider the 3000 for more then a couple of minutes before choosing the rx7. It's such an awesome car and I had the chance to open one up on a track curtosy of my ex's dad. damn i miss that car! =)(Other bonus was that everytime I went to visit her, he had a brand new mx6 for me to borrow while i was down, and that's how i was introduced to what quickly became my fav car! I love my 6 but I'd love to have an rx7 too)
You have to go with the RX-7, I just got a 93 model, and even when it's stock it is still fast. I can wait till I get it back from the shop so I can see how much HP I gained....
deffinitly go with the rx7 the only problem is you have to let it sit and cool down before you shut it off. after you run the hell out of it that is they last alot longer that way.
there both good cars, but I would still get the rx7, cuz it's rotary, it's hard to find, and it's real light.
But if you get the 3000gt only get the vr4.
rx7 - rotary 255hp, twin turbo.
3000gt vr4 - v6 320hp, twin turbo, AWD
