I just landed a pretty good payin job, and im going to get the minor dings, and rust damage taken care of on my car, as well as get a new paint job. its an 89 LX, and its white with blue interior. What color do you think I should get it? I don't want it white anymore I was thinking of a dark red since that would match pretty good with the blue interior. what do you all think?

If you change colors its gonna cost more.

Also the weirder the color, the more cops will notice your car. Keep that in mind.

I always thought red/blue clashed?

yeh i know. but im gonna be making 13.75 an hour, and thats alot for an 18 yr old that doesnt have to pay any bills lol

RED + BLUE = An ugly fuggin combo.

The white is going to be your best bet to stick with and match. Also note, if you are changing the color they will have to paint the door jambs, under hood, and under the trunk. That means twice as much time and money. Just paint it white again and maybe throw some pearl on top of it.

lexus sliver, flat black, pearl white, or civic si blue. Not so much for the silver but hey they all at least wouldnt clash with the blue and white interior.

That cars pretty nice although those rims are PS. There only 15's or 16's in real life.

Why dont you just paint it white, maybe some blue pearl in the white. If you change the color then you have to paint the door jams and around the engine. Unless you want that cheap look??

If I were to repaint my car, Id get that Lexus IS300 dark charcol. I think its called Mineral on the new Mustangs. The IS300 is slightly darker though.
I love the color on my car though.

Changing the color of the car is always something difficult to do, its very time consuming and precision. and unless your planning on taking out your motor yur engine bay will be a diff color. I like black on my mx6, its a stealthy car and color to boot. try looking at some kandy kolors, my conquest is kandy apple red and i love it. it all depends on what you want.
