New Turbo set up for the MX6/Probe V6 on EBAY?

I have a couple of concerns about that one:

1. He's way too optimistic about what you can do with stock injectors. At stock fuel pressure (note that the kit DOES NOT include a FPR), they definitely won't let you get away with 250 whp.

2. Not only is that almost certainly a cheap ChinaCharger, there's next to no information about its size provided. TO4Es come in several sizes.

3. The kit is definitely incomplete - there's no sort of tuning aid included, it appears to be missing the oil lines, that sort of thing.

As i really read this i wouldnt really want a new designed (quote on quote) turbo kit with stock headers???? ... i just wanted you guys to see this...

it's been around for awhile. the design originated from probetalk.. some guy made the pipes for his probe, then he took it to a place and made about 10 of them and ran a bulk buy for it on probe talk.

really well if its real then he has a product that would sell among us probe/MX6 owners except that turbo ... i dont trust turbo's from ebay

You get what you pay for.

All that ebay knock off crap is directly marketed to those who want to modify their car, but dont know jack about doing it. No warranty, no specs, no flow maps. Buy a glued together casting, unbalanced, casted from pot metal... and get it for 1/4 of what the professional competiton cost.

and you know what, about 25% or the time they do all that "knock off" crap right, and you get a turbo that is just as good as the ones that cost 4 times more.

How do you know its just as good?... To see claims of "just as good, or even better" I personally would like to see a comparison on dyno, track..maybe even a shotty launch video. It doesnt burn oil and I get some boost is just one perk to it.

im not saying ebay turbo kits are of good quality but in cf_z's defence. Westpalms Ford Probe GT turbo consists of nearly 100% ebay parts, hes only replaced the wastegate, boost controller and BOV and he makes numbers as good as any turbo kit ive seen with twice the dollars spent on it than his.

x2. And i'm pretty sure Hppwdn does also (Goldmember, the boosted KL MX-3). Both cars run 12s.

Is it just me or is the wastgate mounted after the downpipe??????
