I've seen the ones on a few mid to small aircraft.
It's been coming for ages but the reason is that they have finally gotten it to last 150,000k's
Afterall most modern cars are not expected to last 10 years. So more of this disposable technology will be available.
Rebuilding one of these is not easy. I don't think too many places in australia would be able to even for the aircraft.
then again some of the new GM desiel in some of the new Trains might have similar and I'm sure they woudl of been rebuilt somehow.
but it's still a long way off to the aftermarket area.
