hey there,
just installed a set of NGK G-Power Platinum plugs and I must say, what a difference! Canadian Tire had them on sale for about $3.00(CDN) a pop, so i said "why not". the plugs i took out are NGK V-Groove and only have about 5000 Km on them so I didn't expect to feel any difference. i was pleasantly surprised to see all the plugs were "normal", i.e. no fouling... i set the gap on the G-Power's to 0.40, and stuck 'em in.
the engine has smoothed right out and seems to pull better from idle. however, the gap on the V-Groove's were at about .36 so this may all a result of a slightly wider gap mind you... any thought's Mike94PGT?
i'm heading to the cottage next weekend so i'll let you know if i notice any mileage difference. i usually peg the car at about 3500RPM on the highway and get there on a little more than a 1/4 of a tank (300Km).
cheers,
