Im pulling the engine yet again. This time I am getting a short block through flatlander. I just wanted to see what every one thought. .020 or .040 over? And also what kinda gains can a person expect from boreing out the block alone? I will be sticking to the stock compresion of 9:1 since I would still like to spray and never plan on going turbo.

One more thing. What should I expect to pay to have my head gone through? I want a port and polish and 3-5 angle valve job. Or would it be smarter to get a complete head for 500 bucks which includes cams, then I could just put the jspec into the new one.

Thats it at the moment. I need anwers soon though, I hope to get ahold of flatlander friday to check for availability and order it then or Monday. The head will wait for now though.
