I just got both my O2 sensors replaced and I noticed on the way home that my car seemed to be lacking midrange punch, and it seemed to burst into more power at about 6000 rpm. Did the guys at the shop install it wrong, or does it take a while for the O2 sensors to reach full operation? Thanks.

Your ECU is probably used to your old crappy O2 sensors and probably adjusted the air fuel ratio. etc accordingly. I would reset your ECU by removing the negative battery cable for around 5-10 minutes. Then r-nstall it and turn your car on and let it idle for about 10-15 minutes so that the ecu can "relearn" all of it's new settings?
